"The oil tankers destined for Nato forces were under attack yet again in Quetta."
"Right, that's an issue and..."
"Where was the Interior Minister?"
"That's not his concern."
"I am sorry?"
"That's the responsibility of the army..."
"How come?"
"OK if it's not the army then it's a provincial subject."
"But isn't the Interior Minister responsible for all law and order problems in this country, and let's be honest not a single week goes by without some kind of terrorist attack or the other in this country..."
"Malik has other responsibilities."
"Like what?"
"Well to sign extradition treaties..."
"That's true...so did he sign the extradition treaty with the US so that we can get Dr Aafia back?"
"No he is signing an extradition treaty with UAE."
"Ah I see a conspiracy there."
"You see a conspiracy in everything...why I am sure you even see a conspiracy in the President's visit to his hometown."
"I do see a conspiracy..."
"Oh for Pete's sake! But tell me what conspiracy theory do you see with respect to Rehman Malik grinning like only he can with the UAE minister?"
"Did you hear that some of our self exiled leaders are considering moving to the UAE?"
"Ah yes...but I guess it was critical for him to go on this visit as the Prime Minister has said no one will be allowed to go abroad on state expense until and unless the visit is considered critical."
"I don't think the Prime Minister has control over what the president's men say and do."
"There is that!"
